Occupational Health and Safety - Divsion Committment

The Occupational Health and Safety process is not a fault finding process but rather a fact finding process that will reduce the risk of personal injury, reduce loss due to equipment and property damage and will educate our employees in accident prevention.

The Divison has employed an Occupaitional Health and Safety Corrdinator to assist with any Health and Safety related concerns. Site Supervisors shall contact the OH&S Corrdinator for:

  • Any incident involving WRPS vehicles.
  • Any time a worker seeks medical aid due to a work related injury.
  • Any time a worker refuses to work due to safety concerns.
  • Any School Bus accident.
  • Any other incident where a health and safety investigation is warranted.
