Halloween

Introduction

Located in the southeast part of Wetaskiwin, C. B. McMurdo School offers a Year Round academic program for students in Kindergarten to Grade 9.  Learning time is balanced throughout the school year providing families with an alternative school year calendar.  Classes for each new school year begin the week after the August long weekend.  Staff and students enjoy a two week break in October, a week long break in February, and an extra week during the Easter holidays and the month of July.

Mission

At C.B. McMurdo, we strive to create a positive learning atmosphere where every student has the opportunity to meet with success.  We encourage development of a positive working relationship among students, teachers, parents and community.  We treat each other with respect and dignity, as well as recognizing the uniqueness of each individuals' abilities.  We work towards providing an environment where every person desires life-long learning.  This mission has been summarized into the motto:  "Bee-ing Our Best".
