Roots of Empathy

Introduction

Falun School is situated thirty-six (36) kilometers west of Wetaskiwin along Highway 13 and about fourteen (14) kilometers east of Pigeon Lake. The local economy is based on mixed farming, oil field industry and tourism. Our population of students comes from a mixture of farm families, acreage dwellers and native students attending from the nearby Pigeon Lake Reserve and Louis Bull Reserve.  Virtually all of our students are bussed to school.

As of September 2009, our student population consists of 166 students in kindergarten and grades one through six.

Our mission, is to provide an effective learning community where students receive the encouragement and guidance to become "the best that they can be" in all their endeavors.
