Introduction

Norwood School is located in the Garden Meadows subdivision in the City of Wetaskiwin. The community consists of diverse socio-economic groups most of whom live in owner occupied residences. Norwood School is very well-respected in the local community as an excellent learning facility.

Norwood School offers classes to students from Kindergarten to grade 6. For the 2009-10 school year, enrolment  is approximately 245 students.

Programs & Services

In addition to regular education Norwood offers additional programs to meet the needs of students. These include:  Resource programs for grade 1 - 6(Language/Math),  and a Learning Assistance Program for students who benefit from receiving a blended life-skills/academic program.
