The Board of Trustees is committed to keeping all participants informed as the public consultation and strategic planning process evolves.  We have now completed the three public consultations and are providing to you the document which is the recommendations and alternatives that were generated from all three consultations.

Public Consultation 2010 Compilation of Responses

Last year Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools Board of Trustees consulted with parents to gather information from across the jurisdiction on equitable program delivery.  One recommendation resulting from the the 2009 consultations was to conduct a comprehensive review of the Division's educational facilities.   

This review has been completed and included analysis, options and recommendations that feed into the Ten Year Strategic Facilities Plan. The Ten year Strategic Facilities Plan  includes recommendations on facility replacement, amalgamation, modernization, right-sizing, and reconfiguration.

The Board has held three public consultations throughout June 2010:

June 16, 2010 Buck Mountain Central School
