Children and youth increasingly face many difficult situations and challenges in their lives.  When they lack the ability to resolve these problems, high risk behavior can sometimes occur.  When students make threats to significantly harm others, there is a shared responsibility to respond and support them. Threats are a community concern and as such, the Wetaskiwin Community Risk Response Team provides this support.  With the goal of promoting safe schools and communities, the mandate of the Risk Response Team members work collaboratively to design and implement appropriate responses to resolve the threatening behavior.
