Alberta Milk Recognizes Two WRPS Schools

Alberta Milk recognizes Millet and Lakedell School for their long term participation participation in the Club Moo milk program.

The Government of Alberta announced its 2010/2011 budget on February 9^th.  The government made education a priority against the backdrop of very difficult fiscal times.

WRPS Schools Lose an Additional $300,000.00

In 2007 the provincial government and provincial ATA negotiated a salary increase tied to Alberta's Average Weekly Earnings Index.  On February 2, an arbitrator ruled that teachers are owed the difference of 1.17 percent.
